OECD RAISES RATING OF ARMENIA IN "CLASSIFICATION OF HIGH-RISK COUNTRIES" LIST

The Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) raised the rating of Armenia in the "classification of high-risk countries" list. According to the Press Service of the RA Ministry of Trade and Economic Development, in Paris on January 27, a group of experts of export credit agencies and OECD-member countries reconsidered the index of Armenia and ranked it among higher, 6th group countries.
The new, higher classification enables Armenia to increase the attractiveness of the country from the viewpoint of providing export guarantees and attracting foreign investments. [...]", according to the press release.

It should be emphasized that no other CIS country managed to upgrade its rating except for Armenia within the frames of the OECD.
