Alishan Halebian was born in Armenia. He and his wife and business partner, Lydia Halebian, moved to the United States in 1970. While studying art and design at a local college, he worked in the Los Angeles jewelry district, where his passion for jewelry design and manufacturing was ignited.
With his background in the arts, he approaches his jewelry as miniature sculptures that are wearable. He has received many international and domestic jewelry design competition awards and has earned a membership in the highly respected American Jewelry Design Council.
