The draft law “About invalids” will be introduced to the government in spring. The head of the public organization “Unison”, which takes up questions of disabled people, Armen Alaverdian informed about this at the press conference. He doesn’t consider him to be an idealist but he is sure that the project will be adopted by the NA after being accepted in the Government.

The problems of the disabled are more or less regulated by the present Constitution but they do not offer necessary conditions to solve the problems. Thus, this organization has worked out a draft law where the mechanisms of control are defined.

According to Marat Atovmian, first the building that has no necessary conditions for people in carriages will receive a warning. “In case of not making the appropriate changes the given organization is fined first with 150 000, and for the second time it will be fined with 300 000 drams. In case if no changes are made after all this, the legislative body will be introduced to being liquidated,” explained M. Atovmian.

And what is going to happen to already built but yet without the necessary conditions buildings after adopting the draft law? It turns out that such conditions must be offered in the future. “And if the subject says that it is impossible to make any changes the Court will deal with the question. This refers both to state and private institutions,” said M. Atovmian
