Happiest country is Norway, the most troubled is Niger

NEW YORK. September 8. -By annual UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) report all CIS states entered the group of countries with medium level of development.Out of 177 studied countries Russia is 62nd, Byelorussia - 67, Ukraine - 78, Kazakhstan- 80, Armenia-83, Turkmenistan-97, Georgia-100, Azerbaijan-101, Kyrgyzstan-109, Uzbekistan-111, Moldova-115, Tajikistan-122. {Israel - 24, Greece - 25, Cyprus - 30, Lebanon - 82, Turkey - 94, Iran - 99, Syria - 106, Egypt - 120}

Criteria of analysis for the UN experts were health state, lifetime, social protection, GDP level, educational and cultural development, criminality and ecologic situation.

Highest rate belongs to Norway, Iceland, Australia, Luxembourg and Canada. The US and Japan take 10 and 11 accordingly. Baltic states (Latvia-46, Lithuania-39 and Estonia-38) are countries with [...] high level of progress.

Among the most troubled 32 states are Mali, Sierra Leone and Niger.
