USA REAFFIRMED NAGORNO KARABAKH OCCUPATION FACT

In answer to A1+ question about the reaffirmation of the US stance on Nagorno Karabakh occupation, FA press-secretary Vladimir Karapetyan claims, “ The US core stance has always been in the frames of two sentences: they protect the entire Azerbaijan region, and they are for the peaceful conflict resolution.”

To remind, at Friday's press- conference Vardan Oskanian stated that there were some inaccuracy, falsity in the speech, whereas on the very day Anthony Godfree, the acting US ambassador to Armenia, was informed about this 'fault' at the venue with Vartan Oskanian. As far as it was not his competency “to correct” the mistake, he had to wait for the Federal Department to reassert it. Yesterday The US Embassy spread the news saying, “The US policy has not changed on Human Rights and Nagorno Karabakh conflict. US protect the entireness of Azerbaijan region and see the conflict resolution only through negotiations. We will do our best to gain the agreement on conflict resolution in the framework of principal issues. ”

Vladimir Karapetyan mentioned that Armenia was also for the entireness of regional principle and reminded that Nagorno Karabakh had never been in the structure of independent Azerbaijan.
